T&T Ministry to be ICT Connected by New Academic Year
Minister of Fazal Karim, of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education in Trinidad and Tobago says that the only way to increase the knowledge base is through connectivity and the sharing of resources.
He is on a "steady schedule right now" to ensure that all the agencies and institutions under his Ministry are connected in the new academic year so students can share databases and information. This will be done through National Research and Education Networks (NREN) which will be expanded and connected to the Caribbean Knowledge and Learning Network, CKLN.
