In extending its initiative to foster exposure to the processes of integrating online and distance education into traditional forms of education delivery, CKLN will facilitate groups from St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College and the Dominica State College to visit tertiary learning institutions and open and distance learning service providers in Canada to get a hands on feel of the development and implementation of diatance learning at those institutions.

Business Management Programme Development Consultation - Jamaica

The CKLN Business Management Programme and Development Consultation, held in Kingston Jamaica, from August 21-22, 2008 aimed at identifying a model to guide the development, technology deployment and implementation of common associate, bachelor and postgraduate degree programmes in business studies and management through regional collaboration, saw participation from over twenty two (22) faculty members and other institutional and academic development professionals over a two (2) day consultative process.

The Caribbean Knowledgeand Learning Network (CKLN) Foundation, as part of its InstitutionalStrengthening activities will handover a server, for hosting the Learning Management Platform necessary for developing online courses, to the Barbados Community College (BCC) on Wednesday,July 16, 2008 at 10:00a.m.
The Ceremony will be held in the Conference Room of the College's Administration Building.
